AEP Application for POGO Employees During MECQ and GCQ

Pursuant to Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Labor Advisory No. 19-2020, all foreign nationals employed by Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) who are applying for an Alien Employment Permit (AEP) must submit, in addition to the documentary requirements for the issuance of an AEP, a copy of a recent PAGCOR Authorization to operate and resume its operations during the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) or general community quarantine (MCQ).

The Regional Offices of DOLE may use their existing online system, accept applications via e-mail or adopt their own internal guidelines with respect to the manner of accepting AEP applications and releasing of AEP cards.

The applicants or their employers are highly encouraged to utilize courier services for the delivery of their AEP cards to minimize personal visits at DOLE Offices. If delivery through a courier is not possible, those who shall personally pick up their AEP cards must strictly observe social distancing and the minimum health standards.
