BIR Revenue Memorandum Order No. 49-2018 (13 November 2018)

Authorized Revenue Collection Officer to Accept Tax Payments Pertaining to One Time Transaction of Taxpayers Availing the Fast Lane in View of the Passage of the “Ease of Doing Business” Law

In view of the passing of the Republic Act No. 11032 (Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018), Revenue Collection Officers (RCOs) shall be allowed to accept tax payments relative to One Time Transactions (ONETTs), such as payment of capital gains tax, documentary stamp tax, donor’s tax, estate tax and other ONETT-related taxes. Provided, however, that for ONETT-related taxes above twenty-thousand pesos (P20,000.00), the RCO shall only accept “Manager’s or Cashier’s Check” as payment.
